My name is Ricardo Moreira. I am a newly graduated PhD in Physics.
My PhD work was focused on the doping of clinopyroxene materials with the aim of improving functionality for the purpose of photoelectrochemical applications. I have ample experience in computational and experimental research, having used various techniques throughout my academic path, namely Density Functional Theory, Perturbed Angular Correlation Spectroscopy, X-ray Diffraction, SQUID magnetometry and Raman Spectroscopy. I am also experience at leading and contributing to High Performance Computing projects, with a combined total of over 15 million CPU core hours.
Having finished my PhD, I am currently looking for a new challenge to work on.
